About Robotics

Competitive robotics is a competition where students design, build, and program robots to complete specific tasks in alliance-based or head-to-head matches. It often combines engineering challenges with real-world problem solving, marketing, and teamwork skills.

VEX V5 Robotics is a competitive robotics platform where students design, build, and program robots using standardized metal components, smart electronics, and coding tools. It emphasizes engineering design, teamwork, and problem-solving while creating reliable, high-performance robots.

FTC Robotics is a competitive robotics program that allows teams to design and build highly customizable robots using a wide variety of parts, mechanisms, and advanced programming tools. It is often considered the more difficult of the two programs, offering greater flexibility in robot design, enabling teams to create more unique and specialized solutions for competition challenges.
